Yes, Docparser offers a QR code and 2D barcode scanning filters. We use Zbar, which is an open source software for reading barcodes. It supports many popular types of bar codes including EAN-13/UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code.
Further details on Zbar can be found here - http://zbar.sourceforge.net/
When creating a new parsing rule, scroll down to "Advanced Parsing Rules Presets" and select "Barcode and QR-Code".
In the next step, draw a rectangle around the approximate position of your barcode and click on "Confirm".
In the final step of the parsing rule editor, you should now see the value stored inside the barcode.
