We take data security very seriously and our system is compliant with the latest web security standards. For example, this means that we use full SSL encryption between our server and you once you are logged in. If you download data from our software, it is also transferred SSL-encrypted. Additionally, all passwords are stored as encrypted hash keys and not in plain text.
All information found on this page represents a quick overview of how we handle things at Docparser. More detailed resources are linked below or can be consulted here: Security Statement, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Legal Notice.
What data do you store?
Once you import a new document it is usually processed within one minute. From this moment on, we store the parsed data fields in our database and the original file goes to our Amazon S3 storage. We will then keep this data sealed for you for a certain time according to your document parser settings.
Who has access to the parsed data?
We are well aware that the data parsed from your documents has a unique value for your business and that you don't want to share it with anyone. All imported documents and the parsed data are kept confidential and are not accessible by anyone else than you. For support purposes, our staff might need to access your data, however, this will only happen if help is requested via our support channels.
Is my parsed data used for anything else?
Your data belongs to you and we won't use it in any way for our own purposes. We will never resell your data or use it for any other commercial activity.
Where are the servers and are they properly secured?
Docparser is running on the Amazon Webservices Cloud. The data center is located in the United States in North Carolina. All servers are always up-to-date with the latest security releases. A full backup is made on a daily basis and all data is constantly stored on different hard-drives to prevent data loss in case of a hardware failure.
Can Docparser be used by EU based companies?
Yes, EU based companies can use Docparser. Please find more information on this topic in our Security Statement.
